Ready to Travel Outside Prescott?

Travel broadens one’s horizons. It's educational, fun, relaxing and expensive.

No wait!, that last one, expensive, wasn’t supposed to be in there!

Unfortunately,travel is expensive.

You have to get where you are going by plane, train, or automobile and we are all painfully aware of the price of gas or an airline ticket.

Once you arrive at your destination you need a place to stay, a hotel or the YMCA or maybe you are “lucky” enough to have a friend or relative to stay with. Whatever, it is not cheap.

If you didn’t drive to your destination, then you are going to need a car, or plan on getting around on public transportation. Cha-Ching.

Anyway, you get the drift. It costs a lot to travel these days so you want to be sure that when you finally get to do something fun - like eating out, that you eat at a good place.

Nobody wants to eat at a place with bad food, of course, but how do you tell what’s good and what’s not.

I guess you could read through one of the menu guides that the hotel provides or ask the night shift guy at the desk, but those are a little iffy.

So, here’s the answer. I am going to review places that I have been outside of the Prescott, my home town in Arizona.

From Phoenix to New Brunswick, San Francisco to New York, if I have been there you will hear about it.

You’re right, there is no way that I will ever get to enough restaurants in enough towns to make much of an impression on the would be traveler – so…….

I am going to include Links to really good sites in any number of destination cities and towns across the US of A. These sites will be the best I can find. Sites that are honest and straight forward.

The restaurant review sites that I link to WILL NOT include any sites that allow reviews by the public.

I will provide you with links to reviews by local people who are passionate about food. Locals who have tried a variety of restaurants, hotels or whatever, they will compare them to each other so you can tell which ones are the best in town.

Other links will be the best of their type – hotels, moving services, whatever.

Of course, while we will do our very best to link to sites that are of value to you and are honest, we can’t guarantee that there aren’t charlatan’s out there, so check out anyone that you are doing business with on the web before you get burned– but you knew that didn’t you?
