Waffles n MoreA Prescott, Arizona Local FavoriteA local institution, the Prescott Waffles n More, has a loyal following among Prescott locals. Slide into one of the big comfy booths or grab a table, any morning will do, and have a look around. In one corner booth are 5 older guys arguing over something in the newspaper. In the opposite corner are 4 - 70+ ladies giggling over something one of them said. 
Scattered around this large, by Prescott standards, restaurant are tradesmen sitting by themselves, couples holding hands across the table, others obviously attending a company breakfast and assorted other local characters.The atmosphere is congenial. There is a loud buzz from everyone talking to someone. Every couple of minutes someone gets up from her table and crosses the room to greet someone they know. It’s that kind of place, like Prescott, it is unpretentious, comfortable. This restaurant has been here for as long as some of the residents. My waiter flew by, dropped off a menu, checked two other tables, practically ran back to the kitchen, dropped off another order and skidded to a stop, order book in hand back at my table. “What will you have” he said. I ordered a plain waffle, 2 eggs over medium and, after being informed that it was by far the favorite, ham. 
My order showed up in short order. The eggs were as ordered, the big Belgian waffle was light and fluffy and the ham was a full slice. Not bad for $6.75. As usual I noticed the specials menu AFTER I had ordered. It lists around 10 items ranging from 2 biscuits and gravy & 2 eggs to Oat meal with fruit for $4.99. It would be hard to beat that deal. Located off of Iron Springs Road in the North end of Prescott Waffles and More caters to mostly to Prescott locals. The food is good the décor is kind of … Prescotty. I wouldn’t call this a fun place, but that doesn’t mean you won’t have a good time here with your friends, family, co-workers or that guy across the room that you just happen to know.
