Veritas WinesHiding out in North Prescott is Veritas Wines. Clyde and Lynette Woode, the owners, have established a unique business that offers a lot more than wine to their customers. Located on the SE corner of Prescott Lakes Parkway and Willow Lake Road it is a little hard to find - it's in the office park right next to the Bistro , another of the Woode's ventures. Anyway, Veritas Wines offers scheduled tastings, seminars, the occasional outing to regional tastings and whatever else Clyde can think up for the week. Clyde Woode takes his wine seriously. He has a broad and deep knowledge of wine and the wine business. Like most people with a passion for their work, Clyde is happy to share his knowledge of wine with you. 
Veritas maintains an impressive stock of wines that are out of the mainstream. They may be small producer wines, close outs, or a different varietal from a big name. Clyde has tasted every one and can tell you what you can expect from each, what foods it will pair with and what his overall impression was. Most of Clyde's wines are priced below $20.00 and there are great values in every category. Of course, you can spend more, if he can get it, Clyde would be happy to order a special wine for you. Veritas is a great resource for the people in the Prescott area that enjoy wine.
