Quick Lunch Reviews - Prescott

Brown bag Burger

  • 150 E. Sheldon in the Depot Marketplace  928-445-3353
  • Casual, clean - can be noisesy at peak hours, lots of parking
  • Serves Big burgers, fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings  and other standard burger joint fare.  Speciality burgers are a big draw - everything from green chilli burgers to chili size.
  • Prices are moderate $6.25 and up. Fries are included with the speciality burgers.
Brown Bag uses fresh beef, fresh toppings and quality buns, the malts and milkshakes are thick and delicious and the people are friendly.  Very Good.

Sweet Potato Cafe

  • 443 Miller Valley Road
  • Slightly upscale (black table cloths) breakfast and lunch, clean, relatively quiet.  Parking is limited. Service is friendly and good.
  • Burgers and sandwiches for lunch, Buttercream pancakes and omelettes for breakfast.  Sweet potato fries, soups and several other choices are included.
  • A little on the pricely side - a bacon lettuce tomato and Avacado sandwich ran $8.75, a small Phiily was $9+ .
Sweet Potato Cafe puts out a good product and the staff works hard - I just felt like I was paying top prices for good, but not great, food.
